Just after the start of the year, I saw an image online of a spooky, goth-inspired fashion image of the classic "See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil". I knew immediately that I wanted to create my own version, and began crafting a story around the image I had seen.
I reached out to a few of my favorite models to help me tell the story, and enlisted the help of my resident MUA Brian to help me create some gory effects.
We shot at the International Rose Test Garden in Portland. We captured the location during the stark cold and bare branches of February, though it is equally nice in the summer. The final images came out just the way that I wanted them to, with an added spooky bonus since our model Chey is also a contortionist. The end result is haunting, surreal and moody.
